5 Years have passed since Uvaldo Acosta: The All-American Patriot

It's been almost 5 years since my school project: "Uvaldo Acosta: The All-American Patriot." I'm incredibly proud of how it turned out and it was an absolute pleasure to highlight the career of someone who I look up to and admire.

During my senior year of college, I took on a special project that held a lot of personal significance for me. I chose to highlight the only player to have had his jersey retired at the George Mason Men's Volleyball program. This project was a way for me to give back to a program that had given me so much over the years. It was an opportunity to pay tribute to a player who had made a lasting impact on the program, and on me personally.

Through this project, I aimed to tell the inspiring story of Uvaldo Acosta and his contributions to our sport. As I researched and worked on this project, I learned so much about his life and his impact, and it was truly a humbling experience. I'm grateful for the opportunity to share his story with others and hope that it inspires them in the same way that it has inspired me.
