A Tale of Two Logos: Representing Florida Volleyball Clubs at the 2023 GJNC

When tasked with designing logos for two esteemed Florida volleyball clubs, 305 and OTVA, the objective was clear: create striking visuals that embody the essence of these clubs and the cities they would travel to. The logos would be prominently displayed on shirts worn by players and parents, distinguishing them from other clubs at the highly anticipated Girls Junior Nationals Championship. Let's delve into the creative process and discover how these logos captured the spirit of the clubs and the cities they were heading to.

305 Tournament Shirt- Miami's vibrant colors merge with Chicago's iconic skyline and flag. This sleek design is crafted to catch everyone's gaze, providing a fashionable look for players and parents. With Chicago's skyline against a stunning sunset backdrop, the shirt proudly incorporates the city's flag while preserving the club's vibrant colors. It's a perfect blend of style and spirit for the upcoming tournament.

OTVA Tournament Shirt- The logo for this Florida volleyball club seamlessly combines elements from Minnesota and Chicago. Preserving the club's initials, a volleyball rests on top, while Minnesota's skyline fades into varying shades of blue. Representing Chicago, stars from the city's flag were added.

In the end, I am very happy with the outcome, but more importantly, the clients walked away with a smile on their faces which just makes the whole process a lot better.
